Can I get a “Plaid Yeah!” You guys – these pants that I am sharing with you today are hands down my favorite work pants this winter! I am loving that plaid is all the rage this season! If you work in an office and are in business attire 5 days a week, I am sure you are in the same boat as me and own so many different variations of black bottoms. It’s so nice to switch it up from that!
In the form of fashion, right? How well are you doing on your New Year’s Resolution (or goal 🙂 ) to work out more? To be honest, it has been quite the struggle for me to get into the swing of things! But I am determined to make it happen this week! I don’t know about you..but for me, having a cute workout fit seems to give me just that extra push of motivation to get my butt up and to the gym.

As we turn the page and begin a new chapter looking ahead to 2019, not only do I like to reflect on the past year, but also prepare and plan for the year ahead. I wanted to share with you what some of my goals for the next year will be and how I plan to reach them. I like to refrain from using the term “New Years Resolutions,” because resolutions are hardly ever seen through and usually given up on after the first month or two.
What I have been doing the past few years, is creating goals rather than resolutions. Long and short term. Usually, I have a few overarching goals that I would like to be consistent with throughout the year, some bigger goals that I would like to hit by the end of the year and other smaller goals to make the large ones seem more manageable and not so out of reach. I think we should always be focused on growing and working toward being the best version of ourselves – and with goals, we can do just that!
I love when I have the perfect outfit planned for a special occasion. However, I’m usually scrambling to find something just right the day before…or let’s be real…the day of an event! If you’re still trying to put together some New Years Eve Outfits…I’ve got you covered!
For New Years Eve, we are going to a nice dinner with some friends and will probably be home in time to watch the ball drop from the comfort of our couch in our PJs. Times sure have changed, but we have done this a few times and have really enjoyed it and my body thanks me the next day 😉
