Fall Into Fashion with JCPenney

November 8, 2021

JCPenney has the perfect options to update your fall wardrobe for unbe”leaf”able prices! I absolutely love Fall Fashion – the chunky sweaters, boots, hats, all the gorgeous colors – I can’t get enough of it!

In the spirit of adding a few fall must-haves to your closet, I’ve put together a few looks that you can shop at JCP! Which look is your favorite?

Use code HERO41 for an additional 25% off! *exclusions apply

Look 1 is such a chic for work, weather you’re in office or still WFH! I love the seam and cutout detail on the Stylus High Rise Ankle Pull-on Pants that make them chic enough for the office, but still so comfy so you don’t mind putting them on at home either 😉 Pair with this beautiful St. John’s Bay Turtleneck Long Sleeve Pullover Sweater and layer the super trendy Levi’s Faux Leather Shirt Jacket over!

Look 2 shows you two adorable sweaters that you can wear with the Liz Claiborne Girlfriend Straight Leg Jean. If you haven’t heard – straight leg jeans are totally on trend right now, so make sure you pick yourself up a pair this season! Wear these adorable jeans with either the a.n.a Crewneck Long Sleeve Pullover Sweater for a fun shoulder and gorgeous stitching details throughout the body, or the Ryegrass Crewneck Long Sleeve Sweater for a ruffle detail flare and super fun sleeves!

Look 3 incorporates some great fall staples – a cardigan, turtleneck and distressed jeans! I love the wash and holes in these Arizona Curvy High Rise Mom Slim Fit Jeans, they are the perfect jean that you can wear year round! Plus everyone always needs their go-to cardigan in their closet and I love the gorgeous details on the St. John’s Bay Long Sleeve Open Front Cardigan. Layer that over the Worthington Turtleneck Long Sleeve Pullover Sweater and you’re ready to take on your day!

Look 4 is an easy day to night look – or office to GNO outfit 🙂 The Worthington Ankle Pants with the faux leather look put a little extra sass in the outfit which is so fun! I adore the window pane print and tie on the a.n.a High Neck Long Sleeve Blouse – makes it look so chic for the office. Layer the Levi’s Faux Leather Hooded Motorcycle Jacket for some added warmth at night when you head out on the town!

Look 5 is the perfect fall look for any occasion you might have – bridal or baby showers, brunch, family portraits …it works for all of it! The floral print on the Ronni Nicole Long Sleeve Floral Babydoll Dress is stunning and so perfect for fall. I love it paired with this gorgeous bone colored Levi’s Faux Leather Motorcycle Jacket (which also comes in red!).

Look 6 screams cozy chic fall. Who doesn’t love a good shacket? And this a.n.a Shacket is absolutely perfect! I love the long length, the colors and that it has a hood! Layering this over the Puma Essentials Long Sleeve Sweater Dress will have you so on trend! Pair with some big chunky boots to complete the look!

Look 7 is your go-to athleisure, running errands wanna be cozy but still look cute look! These Xersion High Rise Full Length Fleece Lined Leggings are the prettiest fall color and they will definitely keep your legs warm! I love the faint camo detail on the Puma Essentials Long Sleeve Hoodie and you can layer the St. John’s Bay Quilted Vest over for warmth!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021

July 16, 2021

It’s back! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! This year I am keeping it very simple. I have rounded up things that I have purchased from past anniversary sales – so either it’s the exact same or I have a previous year’s version but from the same brand – and things that I purchased this year or I still have in my cart 🙂 I tried to keep it to the best stuff that I have found value in and think it’s worth it…especially when you can get it on sale! You can click on any of the images below and it will take you straight to that product!

A few tips! If you aren’t a cardholder…no worries…you can still create your wishlist now! Select your size and color and add to the wish list. It will all be there waiting for you when it opens to public access. 🙂 Second – turn on your notifications for when your wishlist items go back in stock! It looks like they stocked a lot, especially of the staples this year (yay!) so hopefully, we won’t see a ton of sell out!

Happy Shopping! 🙂

5 Trends for Spring

April 15, 2021

You guys! It’s going to be 90 degrees this weekend! Although I’m not ready for the extreme summer heat, I am so excited for the beautiful weather coming our way. I just need it to hang in the 70s and 80s for awhile before we jump to Sacramento’s drastic triple digits! Thank goodness there really isn’t any humidity here – because the combo would be unbearable and I would probably need to live in the pool or a shower haha. So while the weather is still beautiful and I’m not absolutely roasting, I wanted to share a few pieces that I’ve added to by spring wardrobe 🙂

Today I’m sharing 5 different trends for spring that I’m absolutely loving!! All of these looks have a piece (or two) from SheIn, so you know that they are super affordable PLUS you can receive an additional 15% off with code DANIELLE15Q1 !!

1. GINGHAM PRINT – I adore gingham print! Skits, dresses, tops, pants, jumpsuits, you name it – it all looks so cute! I especially have been loving the pastel colored gingham for spring. I’ve seen blues, greens, and pinks and they are just so feminine and cute, but I especially love this purple dress. Looks very similar to a much more expensive version, but this is under $30!

2. CLEAR STRAP HEELS AND WEDGES – I really saw this trend explode last spring and I didn’t hop on it (and the entire summer, I wish I had). So as soon as I started buying some new spring sandals and heels for this year, I knew that I had to get a pair of clear strapped wedges. I love these because they totally elongate your legs and the espadrille wedge give a fun spring and summer vibe! Also, how cute is the square toe detail?

3. GRAPHIC TEES – Can’t stop, won’t stop with the graphic tees. I am continuing to see them all over the place and I am so here for that, I think they are so cute and so easy to style! If you missed it, I shared a reel styling this graphic tee 4 more ways – you can view it HERE.

4. EMBELLISHED DENIM – I got my pearl jacket from amazon a few months ago, and I can’t stop wearing it. So when I saw this distressed denim jacket with studs all over and in a darker wash, I knew I had to have it because I would wear it non stop. It is a great layering piece and looks cute styled a ton of different ways.

Distressed Denim Jacket | Graphic Tee | Black Jeans | Studded Sandals

5. FLORAL PRINT DRESSES – I will never not want to wear floral print dresses in the springtime. They are so cute, girly and feminine, I just love them! I absolutely loved the detail on this one, with the sweetheart neckline and the rushed body – so flattering!

Winter Trends I’m Loving!

February 3, 2021

Christmas and New Years has come and gone and now I am starting to itch for some warmer weather!! Who else? I feel like mid-January, early February everyone is starting to get the itch for sunshine! We had a total tease a few weekends back. It was beautiful and sunny, in the 70s – ahh totally had me wishing for spring! But until then…these are some trends I am loving right now…and some that I will definitely be carrying into the spring! You can get an additional 15% off on items from Shein with code DANIELLE15Q1 🙂 (all clothing items are linked at the bottom to shop!)

1. Powder Blues (and pinks too!)

I think these colors are so so pretty for winter! They pair so well with a winter white or pop so well off a dark wash jean or black jeans. I love the top detail on this sweater too! Super unique – and adds a little spice to that zoom work wear 😉

2. Cinched Sweaters

These are so trendy and cute right now! I love this one with the adjustable tie because it can cinch it as much as you want or keep it loose! And this color for winter is perfect! Also, this style sweater will transition to spring so well! Pair with a skirt or shorts in the upcoming warmer months!

3. Frilly Details

First off – how perfect is this top for Valentine’s Day? I love the little heart details, but I am also loving the fun frilly details on blouses. Look at this mockneck, like how cute is that? Perfect for work or a night out (crossing my fingers because this looks like it’s actually in our near future!!)

4. Florals and Bright Colors

This goes for everything! Bright and neon color sweaters and lounge wear, floral tops and of course floral dresses! If we dress for spring, it will come sooner – right? This dress in particular is STUNNING! The ruched detail and the puff one-shoulder …like how fun, right? Plus it’s under $20!

5. Teddy Jackets

Since we still do have to deal with the cold for a few more weeks (or months for some of you – so sorry!), might as well be cute and cozy. I am all here for the teddy jackets – pretty much any style and I think this one is super cute! Plus it comes in a few colors!

January 5, 2021

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Wow – I am sure a lot of us aren’t sad to be leaving 2020 behind. What a year!! I do encourage you to remember the positives that came out of 2020, because it wasn’t all bad. As we move forward into 2021, I know there are some things we are ready to shake – a little holiday weight 😉 , the never ending COVID, toxic relationships – you name it! BUT…these are a few things I’m planning to hold onto as we move into this new year!

You can use code DANIELLE15Q1 for an additional 15% off the items from SHEIN at checkout!

1. Finding a Reason to Get Dressed Up

We have all been in our homes more than we ever thought we would – amiright? We can get in the habit of staying in our comfies. Moving from our night pajamas to our day pajamas and back. I encourage you to find a reason to get dressed up! Have a date night in with your SO and pretend you’re out on the town. Host a small get together with a theme. I will personally find any reason to kick it up a notch! I love this sweater paired with a skirt because I feel so cute – but I am SO comfortable!

4. Feeling Good In What You’re Wearing!

This is something that will (and never should) go out of style! You should love how your clothing makes you feel and you should pick pieces that make you feel confident, 100% you and make you feel like you can take one the world! I used to shy away from certain pieces, but now I rock them and it gives more more confidence than I realize! So you do you miss thang 😉

Holiday 2020 Look Book

December 11, 2020

We are two weeks away from Christmas! I repeat – we are two weeks away from Christmas! And 3 weeks away from 2021! HO-LY COW! We just entered another “lock-down” here in California, so we will definitely be keeping it low key and will be at home for the holidays. Because of this, I struggled if I wanted to share a Holiday Look Book. It seemed a little ridiculous, knowing that most of us will be opening presents virtually with family or watching the ball drop from the comfort of our couch when the clocks finally strikes 12 on 2020. Then I thought – screw that and do you! Don’t let COVID or staying inside stop you. If you dress up for the holidays – get your butt dressed up. Even if it’s for yourself. Make a special dinner for you and your significant other, put on some nice clothes and pretend you’re having a night out. Host that dinner party for 2. I think we’ve all come to the conclusion that there are no rules in 2020, and those goes for what you wear, alone or not! If you are seriously thanking God that you don’t have to dress up this year for any occasion – then take full advantage 😉 Wear those sweats and lounge around! Either way, I’ve put together some looks for you that I hope you enjoy…from fancy to casual! And hey, if you buy something new for yourself and get all dressed up this year…since no one will see you…you can where it next year too! It’s a win-win!

This outfit totally gives me Boss Babe meets Christmas vibes and I’m here for it!
